Completely agree with you squire and I don’t think Cricket is the only sport that suffers. With the Beeb getting rid of Grandstand what will happen to terrestrial sport? Government should have an initiative to make sure Sky doesn’t get a monopoly on sport because ultimately the quality of British sport will lessen (because there is no uptake from the youth) and we will have a situation where we are rubbish at every single sport we play…except curling.
